Macklemore at the Triple Door 01/06/10

About a week ago I seen a tweet Macklemore posted talking about meeting up with the band too rehearse for a show he had coming up at the Triple Door. Macklemore alone on stage is a sight too see in its self. So I knew Macklemore with a Band would be something I had too see. I already assumed the triple door was some what of a classy venue. So I headed off in some decent clothes. Got too the venue went up too the ticket counter where the lady ask me for my name Last then first (i thought that was kinda weird still not sure why they ask for your name) then she asked "are you alone" i was the only person at the counter...so I said yeah its just me. Then she said do you want to be seated with anyone else? IM thinking what the heck is going on here...Um no IM good i can just sit alone...so I paid her...Then a guy came and escorted me inside...as we are walking toward to door too the venue he again says "soooo your here alone" IM thinkin then why in the heck is it such a big deal that IM here all alone...As that thought passes I walk through the doors entering the venue and its a dinner place/concert venue...So there's close too prob 300 people sitting at tables drinking eating and chatting it up. I get escorted by everyone obviously alone...I start feeling more and more awkward...So I do what anyone would do in that situation bust out my trust phone and tweet about it...As I was putting my phone down after tweeting how it was so awkward I look up and too my left and my good buddy Grynch is being escorted to his seat a seat away from mine. Saved the day and out impromptu "bro date" started....pause and no homo...

I shouldt need to tell you how is was because you can just watch the video. Macklemore Killed it and he was definitely the main attraction that night...

Jay Barz performing at the New Hells Kitchen

Had to go down and checkout the New Hells Kitchen last week. The new venue is set up kinda weird the bar and the "dance floor"/stage area are separated by a chain linked fence. Its a lot like El Corazon.

Nectar 01/03/10

Adrian Sims this was my first time ever seeing him. Him and his band are some very talented people. He did a cover of a maxwell song and killed it. IM looking forward too seeing him perform on the 9th along with Neema Jay Barz and Notion.

Zack Tandum first time I've ever heard of him. This guy can sang his ass off and his band was really good also. Follow this guy on twitter and support him you'll be impressed. @TheZackT

Sean Carson I've seen him once before at last supper club. This dude has ton's of talent also...follow him at @seancarson

Melissa Roork is the lil homie I've known here for years. This is the first time I've ever seen her perform a solo set too her own songs. Ive gotta say I was impressed she did good @melissarnb
