I CHALLENGE YOU!!!!!!!
I really think life is all about challenging yourself... physically, Mentally, or spiritually(for some)once you think you've learned it all or done it all its time to start digging your grave...Most recently I have set out on a pretty crazy challenge myself... seeing how long I can go without eating any meat... So far its been 33 or maybe 34 days and I've gotta say it hasn't been nearly as hard as I thought it would be... I feel great...it doesn't matter how much salad or veggies I eat I don't ever get that unbuttoning my pants I just ate waaaaaaay to much food we all get during thanksgiving feeling...Oh yeah also...34 days ago I weighed 208 pounds this evening i weighed myself and IM at 196.4 I haven't been under 200 for soooooooo long...and its anamazing feeling...I've done this without hitting the gym (i wish i had energy to hit the gym after my 12 plus hour work days but i just don't) My job is pretty active so IM sure that's helping with the weight loss.
HERE COMES THE CHALLENGE part... I really feel if I could some what easily break my habit of eating meat 2 or 3 times a day and sometimes for a late night snack... EVERYONE else out there can pick something to break a habit of... cigarettes, beer, energy drinks, Weed, Drugs,Fast Food, Soda...... whatever you partake in that might not be the healthiest thing for you I challenge you to go at least 10 days without and stop letting _______________ make you its bitch! haha YOU CAN DO IT BREAK THE HABIT...
and yes IM still a man even though I haven't eaten meat in 34 or so days...

Juicing LIFE!
Some time ago...I stumbled upon a documentary on netflix called Fat Sick and Nearly Dead. That one documentary has changed my life (hopefully forever) I think almost everyone knows we shouldn't chow down on Fast Food and slurp down Cokes every single day of our lives. Yet a lot of us still do it knowing its really bad for us. Watching this documentary really opened my eyes to what I eat and how little exercise I was getting. So last Christmas I asked Santa for a Juicer and sure enough he delivered. So back in December I started juicing along with my meals I was eating I also focused on eating a cleaner more healthy diet staying away from Pop fast food and anything that isn't natural! Ever since December I have been meaning to go on a juice cleanse for a week I tried a few times and failed. This past week I was finally successful (almost)
For the past week Cucumber, Apple, Celery, Kale, Spinach, Oranges, Strawberries, Grapes, Ginger, Banana, Kiwi, Carrots, Peppers, and some other fruits and veggies were my best friends and tons and tons of water also.
I never thought I could make it a week without eating anything just juicing and drinking water (sidenote i only made it 6 and half days last night was my sisters boyfriends birthday and tradition is to make him Chicken and Mac N Cheese they were not digging the Mac N Cheese I made so I had to give it a taste test to perfect it then ended up eating the Baked Chicken and Mac N Cheese and tons of salad for dinner 6 and half days is pretty amazing.
Its pretty crazy a few days into it I really wasn't hungry much at all between juicing 3 to 4 times a day a cup of chicken broth and drinking tons of water I felt pretty full everyday. there were issues with feeling light headed and a little weak from time too time. Over all It felt amazing to be able to control my eating habits like that and it proved to me a lot of times when I eat its out of boredom and not because I am hungry.
Healthier eating habits were definitely formed during this Juicing fast. I will do it again someday and Ill make it the full 7 days maybe even 10 days next time
If you want to make a change in your life please go watch Fat Sick and Nearly Dead. Not only is it very entertaining its very inspirational and informative...
Ps Thank you for everyone that encouraged me along the way. I didn't tell too many people what I was doing because everyone has their opinions and I didn't want to hear them. I say find whatever works for you as long as its healthy and you feel and look good its all good go for it!
and IM sure if you read this or are still reading this you would like to know how much weight I lost while on this Juicing cleanse ...
I started at around 212 ending at around 202 pounds (i go up and down so much by a few pounds thats why I say "around"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Macklemore!
Once upon a time...back in my earlier Seattle Hip Hop days...I kept hearing about this rapper named Macklemore...I heard a few songs from him...and Really wanted a cd...but I never ever seemed to be able to run into him to get it...One day Neema was recording with Macklemore so I had Neema buy a cd for me... Ever sense the first time listening to his cd I was a fan...
Fast forward about a few years I have had the pleasure to watch Macklemore grow as an artist...I have been able to see him perform at small venues with barely anybody in attendace... I've seen Sir Mix A Lot pass Macklemore the torch...at one of his 3 soldout showbox (market shows) I've seen him hop off stage at bumbershoot (performing w/ Grynch) and about 50 or so kids rushing him for an autograph... Macklemore always gives his all while on stage...and doesn't just go up there and rap this man puts on a show...
When I was sitting in the airport and cracked up the latest XXL magazine and seen Macklemore more in it...it almost brought tears to my eyes because I was so happy for him and his accomplishments...
Keep it going brother... you've got a fan for life over here...
This is my favorite Macklemore song ever...It has helped me get through a real tough time in life...

Todays Topic... NETWORKING
"the developing of contacts or exchanging of information with others in an informal network, as to further a career"
I feel like the art of networking...has been turning into lesser known rappers/managers/promoters trying to spring board off of more known rappers/promoters/managers. Instead of two different parties truly helping each other out... I feel like people are trying to get the upper hand and not help the next man out...
Networking to me equals spending money...or offering something of value to the person you are networking with.
Spending money with a producer/studio/rapper is the best way to network in my opinion...
If Rapper A who is fairly unknown hits up Producer A who is very well known and is like yoooo dog im tryin to network...get some beats for my project... what is Producer A gonna benefit from that? Humble yourself Rapper A and really think about it...
Random rant over...
